The Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor debuted in India in April 2024 as a rebadged version of the subcompact crossover SUV Maruti Suzuki Fronx. To provide a unique identity, Toyota incorporated its own styling cues, such as a distinctive grille and redesigned bumpers, while the interior remains largely similar, with only the Toyota badging altered. The Taisor offers two engine options, a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine and a 1.2-liter petrol engine, with the former featuring a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for enhanced efficiency. It comes equipped with modern features like a 9-inch infotainment system, a 360° camera, cruise control, and advanced safety features, including six standard airbags across all variants. The model also benefits from the strong service network and reliability reputation of the Toyota brand.
